Eggs at Last

Finally, some eggs in my first split of the season. The queen has finally started to lay, and soon this hive will be full of new bees ready to venture out and collect nectar and pollen, which will help build a strong and vibrant colony.


The eggs look like tiny grains of rice standing on end in the bottom of the cells.
