Last Weekend we found one of our hives empty of bees. It had been under attack from wasps in late September, So we reduced the entrance to a single bee space to give the bees a chance to defend their home. Unfortunately, the wasps were very persistent the colony collapsed. We closed the hive entrance and removed it from the apiary to stop the other bees from robbing it. Hopefully, we will have some good comb to start a few new colonies of bees next season.
